Today, we’re exploring North Raleigh…just a hop, skip and a jump away from Raleigh. There are hundreds of restaurants to try in this area as well as unique shopping venues and relaxing parks. Your next home may be waiting for you in North Raleigh.

1. Restaurants
   1. Have a hankering for a freshly-made donut, delicious coffee, ice cream Mexican, sushi, or a nice cold beer? You can find all of that and more in the Greystone Village Shopping Center. 
      1. Start your morning off with a coffee and mini donuts from Sola Coffee Café. They also have a yummy lunch and dinner menu too. 
      2. While you’re in Greystone, stop by Bottle Rev 3 for a beer and chat with friends. Then, you can either visit Gonza Tacos y Tequila, Kai Sushi & Sake Bar, or Sawmill Tap Room for dinner. If you’re still hungry, head over to Two Roosters Ice Cream for a sweet treat!
2. Shops
   1. Step into a European-style village in the heart of the Triangle. Lafayette Village makes you feel like you’re on an European excursion as you stroll through the shops and restaurants.  
      1. There’s even a small, look alike Eiffel Tower for pictures, and many delicious restaurants to choose from whether you want Italian or Mexican. 
3. Parks
   1. Get outside and soak up the North Carolina weather! 
      1. Enjoy the beautiful, serene lakes at Shelley Lake and Lake Lynn! The greenway trails around both lakes are perfect for jogging or walking.
4. Festivals
   1. Coastal Credit Union Midtown Park in North Hills offers fun concerts and community events when the weather is warm.  
      1. During the cooler months, take the family to the park for a nice picnic and to get some energy out. 
      2. You can also spend the day shopping and dining throughout North Hills.  
5. Fine Dining
   1. A staple in North Raleigh is Winston’s Grille off Falls of Neuse Road.
      1. Winston’s has been serving delicious food since 1986 and was the 2019 and 2020 Gold Award Winner for Best Business Lunch from Midtown Magazine.
