The remainder wetlands is non-Riverine/Flat. We have not found a recorded easement providing access to this land; however, for years the owners accessed it by a farm road from Old River Rd. and when Pike Crossing S/D was developed continued using the road which is now paved and named Hawk Hollow Trail. Current access is from the dead-end cul-de-sac of Hawk Hollow Trail. The developer is in the process of turning the private street over to the NCDOT with final approval to be determined at the DOT November or December meeting.
