Originally two separate towns (Fuquay and Varina), what is now the town of Fuquay-Varina, NC merged in 1963 to create a charming and fast-growing town near the Triangle area. With a location only 30 minutes from Raleigh and 40 minutes from Durham, this is the perfect place to be if you want the experience of a small town in a convenient location to the bigger city. This town has a great downtown area, beautiful parks, and great local restaurants and businesses. Even better, you can experience all of these things every day and make the short commute to the city! Fuquay-Varina has tons of tasty dining options. One of the local favorites is The Aviator SmokeHouse, where you can fill up on all the smoked meats you want.
