Boylan Heights

Boylan Heights is an historic neighborhood located in Raleigh, NC.

Established in 1907, this community was added to the National Register of Historic Places in July 1985.

The community was named after William Boylan, who was a publisher from New Jersey who printed a paper called the Minerva. He was also a state legislator as well as the chairman of the Wake County Court during the 1800s.

Today, Boylan Heights offers residents incredible views of the city skyline as well as sprawling bungalow-style homes.

Boylan Heights even has its own park, which is called Dupont Circle Park.

Those residents who have school-age children will be pleased to learn that Boylan Heights is zoned for a number of quality public schools in the area, including:

• Daniels Middle School
• Broughton High School
